Appilates User Manual for Studios
Website content management
Appilates includes an all‑inclusive Website CMS so your studio is getting a complete, branded website without juggling separate hosting, themes, or third‑party tooling. It uses your Studio Artwork and Portfolio settings, class schedules pass and membership products to deliver a consistent, production‑ready site: navigation with your icon, footer/contact blocks, markdown‑friendly call‑to‑action content, color theming, and six managed page slots—everything you need to launch and maintain a professional presence quickly. Whether your clients want to use the Appilates App or use your website for a quick booking or purchase, your studio delivers a streamlined experience to your client.
Pages within your website
Your website has 6 pages:
- Home (Landing page)
- Class schedules
- Passes & memberships
- About us
- Contact us
- Join us
Appilates is creating automatic content for each of these pages and you can combine this content with your own layouts, text, images and other elements. Read more about page content management to customise the content of each page.
Navigation
- What you control: Background color; Link color text; Studio name color text.
- Auto content: The Studio icon from Studio Artwork is shown automatically in the navigation.
- Behavior: Link color affects all navigation links and dropdown items. Studio name color applies to the brand text in the nav.
- Recommendation: Use high contrast between background and link/text colors for accessibility and clear CTAs.
- What you control: Footer background color and footer text color.
- Show/hide options: Toggle visibility for Phone, E‑mail, and Studio postal address.
- Usage: Footer colors apply globally across the site and in PDF exports where the footer appears.
- Recommendation: Keep essential contact info visible unless you prefer minimal public listing; hiding fields removes them from every public footer instance.
Call to Action
Free text block that supports markdown formatting including bold and italic. Text provided here is shown in the 'Call-to-action' block you can place on multiple pages on your website.
Best practices
- Maintain brand consistency by using the same HEX colors you set in Studio Artwork.
- Preview the site on mobile and desktop after changes; nav and footer behavior can differ by viewport.
- Keep CTA copy tight and linked directly to booking or purchase endpoints.
- Enable phone and email in footer if you want immediate contact conversions; hide postal address if privacy or space is a concern.
