The Dashboard is the start screen of the Appilates App. It's the ideal place to have all needed information at one glance and apply some individual style and content for your studio. Depending on if your client uses the App or you one of your staff, the dashboard acts accordingly. Whereas you and your staff can individually apply their custom content to the dashboard, you are in full control about the layout and content of your client's dashboard.
Widgets are the layout and content blocks you can arrange on the dashboard. The dashboard provides 2 areas to arrange widgets. On a large screen there is the main-center area and a smaller right area, on a phone screen, the main area is placed center top, and the side area on the bottom.
We'll work hard on delivering new Widget-features to you and your clients, here is a list of the most important Widgets you can use in Appilates. Some widgets are only available for staff users' others only for your clients.

| About studio | Displays content from your Studio Portfolio and shows a portrait image and chat options for each of your staff. It also shows your contact info and a 'find us on a map' helpful for new clients. | all users |
| Text-Content | Displays a title and a text information. Handy to announce information prominently to all of your clients, or when used on your own staff-dashboard, to simply pin some needfull info to the dashboard. | all users |
| Links | Add links to places within Appilates or to website url's. | all user |
| Switch staff | A handy widget, if you have a shared device in your studio that is used from multiple staff members. The widget allows to quickly switch between the staff user accounts. | Staff |
There are two ways to configure the dashboard content for your clients (customers).
For Staff members the dashboard layout is individual per staff and per device. This allows you to use different layouts, let's say one for your phone and one for your tablet. You may also use a tablet or laptop on your front desk were occasionally your clients get a glimpse on the screen and were you want to avoid having a widget visible with confidential information such as sales statistics.
