Connect with Clients

Note:
During your Appilates Trial, you cannot invite customers until your studio is marked Online. You can prepare your client list during the trial and, once your studio is Online, use the import assistant to send invitations to all clients at once.

Ways to Connect with Clients

You can add or connect clients to your studio in Appilates using the following methods:

1. Adding New Clients as a Staff Member

• Use the "Add New Client" assistant.
• When adding a client, you will be given the option to send an invitation to the client’s email address.
• The invitation allows the client to connect to your studio via the Appilates platform.

2. Self-Registration by Clients

• Clients can self-register for your studio directly through your studio’s website or the Appilates mobile app.
• An invitation is not required for self-registration.

3. Inviting Clients After Going Online

• Once your studio status is Online, use the Invite Assistant to send invitations to selected clients or to all clients at once.
• Invitations are sent via email.

How Invitations Work

• Invited clients receive an email with links to download the Appilates App or to access your studio’s website.
• When a client follows the invitation link and completes the setup, their user account is automatically linked to their client record in your studio.

Self-Registration Settings

You can control self-registration for your studio by choosing one of these options:

• No self-registration: Only staff can add clients.
• Self-registration as active client: Clients who self-register are active immediately.
• Self-registration as passive client: Clients who self-register must be activated by a staff member.

Additionally, you can choose which information is required from self-registering clients. Options include:

• First name and last name
• Birthdate
• Address
• Emergency contacts
