A client can be marked active or inactive easily in their client window.

Open the "Active client" window by clicking the down arrow beside it.

Clients are active by default.

To make a client inactive, click on the "Set client inactive" button Beside "Client status". To make a client active, click on the "Reactivate client" button beside "Client status".
